Animation
We designed stop-motion animation, and we made models for the screen play actors.To do this we had to move the characters for each shot.We had to take two shots for each movement, 18 of these was a second of the film.It was very enjoyable being able to make a movie out of such a simple thing, the great thing was it was easy to do……FANTASTIC!
Most children in the school visited us, to see how stop-motion animation works. It was mainly y6’s who enjoyed this software along with the y4’s and 5’s. This software could be used in the same way since we had great feedback from all the years. We will get to use more of the software next year because of a brilliant film presented by the year five media group, which won the “Steel City Globe Awards”, which won us two Digital Blue Cameras and software. Well done year 5’s for making the super film “Safety With Reg”.
