Deepcar St John’s Junior School

It was great at the Town Hall. We learnt a lot about how to improve our school in the future. We were involved in activities which highlighted areas we could look at in school with the school council’s help. We were able to use these ACTIVote handsets, which we used to vote on answers to questions. It’s a bit like a TV remote, we pointed it at the screen and it recorded our answers. They are cool and fun to use. (although expensive!)

We are going to work with Miss Jackson to come up with some suggestions for how to improve our school. We both enjoyed it.

Today was a good day because I had fun. I like it so much I wish I could do it again.Bye for now.

Today we all had different parts of the myth theseus and the minotaur to animate it was realy good because we got to do it all ourselves except we wouldn’t have done it without the help of Greg, Mr bush, Julia and Miss Jackson.

We started off in the morning making our characters and then later went on to filming today has been great thanks

Today we have been doing some animation at the high school with play doe,we had to do it about the story theseus and the minotaur we weren’t aloud to put are hands in the way otherwise it would look not real.

Today y6 hj went to stocksbridge high school and we did some animation of Theseus and the Minotaur.Then after we did our modelling clay we filmed and we could not put our smelly hands in.

Today was sooo cool,y6hj went the high and did a animation of Theseus and the Minotaur.We made little characters out of playdough and made settings then we filmed it.We need to make a few corrections to ours but a can’t wait to see the finished film.I was paired with Blake and both of us have had a really good time.

Today Y6HJ have visited SHS to use their ICT facilities to make an animation of Theseus and the Minotaur.

I enjoyed using pda’s to find out about bullying and what it can do to you.We created a leaflet to show some types of bullying.

We enjoyed pink day because we got to eat biscuits,buns and doughnuts. We also enjoyed colouring in professor pink pants.
