Simulations
We were showing people how to do simulations. A Simulation is a model or a copy of something. We were using a model of a Roman Archeological Dig and a Roman Villa. We logged on to Sherston software and clicked on to Arcventure Romans. Rory and I showed people around a simulation of a roman villa. We were trying to solve problems to find out what the unknown objects in our database were. Sophie and I were doing the small stones expedition and we went to the servants room and cleaned the moasic room. We also made a mosaic on the computer for a mosaic maker.
Robert and Rory were looking to find out more information about the lump of bronze. We visited the forum and talked to a Roman soldier. They found the sword to help us solve the unknown.
Rory and I enjoyed showing people what to do. Some y6’s,y5’s,y4’s and y3’s visted us. Some of the y3s knew what to do as they had done it themselves in lessons, but the y4, 5 and 6s had not done any of this before. I think they enjoyed it.
Other people who ran stations were; Max and Marija. We think everybody enjoyed the day. I think the Dance E-Jay station was very good and lots of people wanted to do it so next time could we have more please Miss Jackson?
