Summer 2006 Sports Day

Although we’re not quite into scuba diving yet there were a wealth of different sports activities for the children to try.
Teams and their mascots were in high spirits, hoping to win the ever sort after winners trophy.
A HUGE thank you to Mr Richardson from myself, all the staff and the children and parents, without your organisation it would not have been such a success.
On the Friday after Sports Day we held the annual ‘tug of war’. Sport’s Day Teams were matched against eachother. Branners were against Wheaties in the final, and Wheaties became this year’s champions.

As Tug of War champions the Wheaties then had to pull against the teachers!! They won 2 out of the 3 pulls.

“I was really surprised when I won the best boy award. My favourtie activity was the obstacle race, where you had to run with rings and jump over hundles and go under things. My score was 175 with all the rings!! My team were the ‘Special K’s’ and I thought we worked well together.”
