Using images and text from the internet to make a document

I was showing the year 4 & 3 children how to make posters I showed them how to make keep out posters and things like that. I showed them how to alter text and I also showed them how to get pictures from microsoft clips online. This is really simple all you need to do is copy and paste it into your document and then you can resize and recolour it if you want too.

One of the y3 children made a bedroom door sign, using a picture from a website and then I showed him how to change the font so it looked more interesting.

I have really enjoyed ICT this year and I think it was a great way to end it.

Billy and I ran the Text and Graphics stations on the Y3 / 4 ICT day. We only had a couple of people to see us, they were mostly Y3’s. They wanted to make ‘Keep Out’ signs for their bedrooms, so we showed them how to add in arrows and other shapes, make text bigger and bold and change the colour. We enjoyed making the signs look interesting. We were working in Mr Taylor’s classroom and some people worked on the interactive whiteboard. I enjoyed the day and seeing teh films. It was a lovely day and it was nice to see people walking around school together, although it was a bit busy!
